The enclosed emitter design protects the internal components of the optic from water, dirt and other environmental influences. The large 28 × 22 mm viewing window with a multi-coated finish provides an open sight picture and makes it easier to acquire the aiming point quickly and transition between targets. The Osight R uses a Multi-Reticle System with three display options. The user can choose a precise 2 MOA dot, a prominent 65 MOA circle or a combination of the circle and dot. This allows the reticle to be adapted to the desired balance between aiming speed and precision. The brightness of the red reticle offers 9 daylight and 3 NV levels for use with compatible night vision (NVG). A dedicated NV button allows quick switching between daylight and NV modes, with each mode remembering the last brightness level used. The red dot sight uses the widely adopted Micro T1 / T2 footprint, allowing it to work with an extensive ecosystem of compatible mounts. The package includes an ORS-153 Lower 1/3 Co-Witness RIS mount with a height of 1.535". A low mount with a height of 1.21" or a raised 1.93" version can also be purchased separately from us. Compatible mounts with the Aimpoint Micro T1 / T2 footprint can be used, including suitable mounts from the Vector Optics RUM™ system. The durable body is made from 7075-T6 aluminium alloy. The red dot sight offers IPX8 water resistance, vibration resistance up to 1000 G, an adjustment range of ±50 MOA and an adjustment value of 0.5 MOA per click. Power is supplied by one CR2032 battery, with a stated maximum battery life of up to 83,000 hours at Mode 5. It also features memory of the last setting and a motion sensor. The front and rear lenses are protected by removable covers. The front cover can be replaced with the supplied ARD (Anti-Reflective Device), which reduces unwanted reflections while also creating an additional mechanical barrier in front of the front lens.
