A maximum light output of 1500 lm is complemented by a beam distance of up to 250 metres and a beam intensity of 15600 cd. In addition to standard illumination, it also offers a Strobe function. The package includes an M-LOK mount and magnetic remote switch, allowing the ODIN S to be operated directly from the weapon without having to move your hand to the rear switch of the light. The body is made from a durable aluminium alloy and the construction offers IPX8 water resistance and drop resistance from a height of up to 1.5 metres. The electronics control power delivery to the LED while also protecting the light from overheating. At the highest mode, the output therefore decreases after approximately 3.5 minutes and stabilises at 650 lm. The ODIN S is normally powered by a rechargeable lithium 18650 battery with a capacity of 3500 mAh. The battery does not need to be removed from the light for normal charging. The MCC3 magnetic charger connects directly to the rear of the light. Alternatively, the supplied adapter can also be used with 2 CR123A batteries. When these are used, the maximum output is limited to 1000 lm and the runtime differs from that of the rechargeable 18650 battery.
