UMAREX H&K G95K AEG is a licensed airsoft replica of the compact variant of the modern Heckler & Koch assault rifle, whose real-steel counterpart is associated with the German Bundeswehr armed forces and KSK units. The airsoft version features a metal receiver, telescopic stock and modular HKey handguard with a top RIS rail, providing plenty of space for a red dot sight, modern LPVO rifle scope, tactical flashlight, front grip and other tactical accessories. An interesting feature is the folding 45° offset iron sights, which can be used as a backup sighting system alongside the primary optic. Inside is a Split Gearbox, whose design significantly simplifies access to the spring section and allows QSC quick spring replacement without completely disassembling the gearbox. This is practical when adjusting the power to comply with the rules of a particular field or type of game. Another major advantage is the programmable ARCTURUS electronic trigger, which in addition to the standard SAFE, SEMI and AUTO modes also offers 2-round and 3-round burst, Binary Trigger, pre-cocking, active brake, low battery voltage warning and trigger behaviour adjustment options. The adjustable hop-up allows you to fine-tune the BB trajectory according to the BBs used, while the ambidextrous controls make handling easier for both right- and left-handed users. Also included is an unusual switchable mid-cap magazine that can be set to a capacity of 120 BBs or a realistic capacity of 30 BBs (Real-Cap) for more realistic MilSim use. The gun is equipped with a 14 mm CCW thread for suppressors, compensators or tracer units and features rear wiring routed into the stock, terminated with a modern T-Dean connector. The gun is compatible with 7.4 V and 11.1 V Li-Po batteries, but we recommend using a 7.4 V Li-Po with the standard spring. An 11.1 V battery places unnecessarily high stress on the standard configuration. Thanks to the split gearbox and QSC system, replacing the spring if necessary is considerably easier. We recommend not exceeding an M120 spring and bearing in mind that the actual strength of springs may vary between manufacturers.
The gun supports 7.4 V and 11.1 V Li-Po batteries, but we recommend using a 7.4 V Li-Po with the standard spring. The 11.1 V version significantly increases the cycle rate and places unnecessarily high stress on the mechanism in the standard configuration. The battery is not included.
For reasonable long-term stress on the assembly, we recommend using a spring rated at no more than M120. However, the M120 rating is not completely standardised between manufacturers, and some springs may provide higher power than their designation suggests. After replacement, we therefore always recommend measuring the actual power of the gun with a chronograph.
In addition to the basic modes, the electronic trigger allows you to use 2-round and 3-round burst, Binary Trigger, pre-cocking and active brake. Trigger behaviour adjustment, a low battery voltage warning and the option to restore the default configuration are also available.
The supplied magazine allows you to switch between a capacity of 120 BBs and a realistic capacity of 30 BBs. The 120 BBs mode is practical for regular airsoft, while the 30 BBs mode is ideal for MilSim players or games focused on more realistic handling and ammunition management.
