It can be installed directly on slides and mounting interfaces with a corresponding DPP footprint without requiring an additional adapter plate. The enclosed housing also protects the emitter from water, dust and dirt that can interfere with the beam path in open red dot sights. The Osight SE DPP uses a large 23 × 18 mm viewing window, which is wider and taller than the Osight SE version with an RMSc footprint. The larger viewing area makes it easier to acquire the aiming point while keeping more of the target within the field of view. According to the manufacturer, the aspherical lens with a multi-layer anti-reflective coating provides a distortion-free image, parallax-free operation and unlimited eye relief.
